The site features an outdoor kiosk area for local entrepreneurs to showcase/sell their products to visitor to Haines Junction and host cultural/educational programs that tie-in directly to DaKu Center programming during tourist season.

The outdoor amphitheater would provide an outdoor event area in Haines Junction for community events, music festivals, interpretation programming, cultural events and create a second stage for the dance festival. Having an outdoor area for these events would enhance the programming activities at Da Ku and create more opportunities to increase tourism, and economic benefit for the community.
